The Advanced Certificate in Canine Hydrotherapy builds on your existing knowledge and takes your practice to the next level. It's designed for working canine hydrotherapists, vets, veterinary nurses, canine rehabilitation practitioners, physiotherapists, and other animal health professionals who want to deepen their clinical skills and treat more complex cases with confidence. You'll complete comprehensive online modules at your own pace, covering advanced assessment, treatment planning, common conditions and contraindications, and how to work alongside referring vets and rehab teams. A 2-day practical workshop then puts theory into practice. You'll assess and review real patients, build effective hydrotherapy and rehab programs, apply advanced underwater treadmill techniques, and gain confidence structuring protocols and progressing cases. By the end, you'll have the skills, evidence base, and clinical reasoning to deliver safer, more effective treatments and stand out as a senior practitioner in your field.

Enrolments are now open for students at our introductory rate - available until 30th June or until all student places are filled. We have strictly limited places available for our full course which includes all online study modules and in-person attendance for our 2-day practical workshop held at our rehab clinic in the Blue Mountains, Sydney.  If you are unable to attend the practical workshop we have a second available study route that includes all online module content and workshop attendance via livestream. As the workshop covers significant practical skills, online only students will need to submit video evidence of practical skills prior to their final exam and course fees are increased to cover this. We strongly recommend in-person workshop attendance, if at all possible, to benefit fully from working with real-life cases and combining theory into advanced hydrotherapy skills and practice. Course fees include morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea as well as study materials and measurement tool kit. Workshop dates TBD - First Workshop to be held Jan/Feb 2027, followed by May 2027.
